SCOPE
  Data presentation - Summary description Structural housing indicators provide (annual) information on underlying structural aspects of the housing markets, for example on the Number of dwellings, Vacancy/occupancy rates, Housing starts and completions, Housing transactions and the Type of tenure (owner-occupied and rented). National data are provided by National Central Banks, compliant with agreed target definitions but are not always fully comparable across countries. European aggregates are compiled by the ECB if the country coverage rate is 60% or higher.

Compilation A PRHH is formed by one/more persons living with or without family ties together in the same private dwelling. Data for 1970, 1981, 1991, 2001, 2011 are observed official figures. BCL estimates for the periods between on the basis of constant growth rates; data for 2012 to 2015 estimated based on the average growth rate for the period 2001-2011.
